I’m BACK….

Hello everyone,

I’m sorry that I have been MIA lately! But I am finally moved and in my new home and trying to get unpacked and settled! Even though I have been on a designer break for the past couple of months, I still need a little more time. My “break” hasn’t really been relaxing as I have had so much going on this summer, but now that I am in my new home, i want to just take some time and get settled, so look for me in August! I am working on a brand new kit series called: JUST HAVETA PLAY. It is a grungy, sports series. I am currently working on my JUST HAVETA PLAY BASEBALL Kit, but you can look forward to Football, Volleyball, and Basketball versions (and just maybe more). I have had a bit of a creative block hit me, so hopefully as I get settled in more everything will come back! Anyways, I just thought I’d let you know that new kits are coming.

Just a little break….

I know that I have been AWFUL lately in my blogging. I have just been so CRAMMED with things that I need to do. And the list just keeps going and going and going….no end in sight!

SO I am taking a little designer break. This week I will be around to finish up some design contributions and committments, The following week, I will be helping my family out on our ranch, moving the cattle from our winter range to our summer range. The following week, I will be on a week-long campout as a Young Women’s Leader. And then the next 2 weeks will be spent packing so that the first week of July I can move 5-hours away. A lot of work in store, but I can’t wait to finally be living with my husband again (after 2 years of seeing him only every other weekend or so…..as we struggled financially and he had to work away from home). So this is a major blessing in our lives to FINALLY be together as a family again, but the next month is going to be quite stressing and stuff and I am just not going to have the time to design. Once I get settled into my new home and hopefully get some time to relax and rejuvenate….I will be BACK…so look for me at the end of July!

Just so you know, I do have my older kits up in all my stores now (except for Digitals…since they had a major server issue…but it will be up soon). So hopefully this summer you all will all check out the stores and do some shopping! Also remember to checkout The Scrapping Garden in July, where I have created a special Promotional Kit that you can get free with orders of $10 or more! So don’t miss it!

Status of my son…

I hope everyone had a very HAPPY EASTER and that your weekend was wonderful. Unfortunately, mine wasn’t so wonderful. I just wanted to let you all know what is going on. Friday morning my son, JJ, had another grand maul seizure. He’d been coughing and had a fever all night. Usually after he has a seizure, he cools down, but he didn’t this time, so I decided to take him up to the clinic here . He was not breathing well. They sent us over to the hospital in Kanab (about 1/2 hour away) where we found out his oxygen was very low and he has an infection in his chest that could turn into pneumonia so they admitted him for an overnight stay. I was with him all day Friday and then my husband came down and stayed there overnight with him so I could come home and be with my daughter, Beth. We thought JJ was coming home Saturday, but his oxygen was back down and he was breathing well, so he had to stay another night. My hubby and I switched and I stayed overnight with JJ while he went home and stayed with Beth. Thankfully this morning his oxygen was up where it needed to be and he was breathing much better, so we got to bring him home about 11 this morning. They concluded that it was a bacterial infection that because he has asthma, it had settled in his lungs. He’s not 100% yet, but with breathing treatments and antibiotics..he should be good in a couple of days!

Anyways, since we didn’t really get to celebrate Easter…we are probably going to go try and go out a little bit tomorrow. My daughter also has a double ear infection, so we just are trying to get over this sickness!  But hopefully I will try and be around a bit and get some new kits out!
